Dener Ceide and Reginald Cange grew up together in the same neighborhood in Carrefour, Haiti and bonded over their shared passions for sound, rhythm and beats throughout the years. In 2017, they would join forces to create ZAFEM and release their debut album tilted LAS on May 5, 2023. Both Dener and Reginald are passionate about all genres of music and the transformative power it has on people’s lives. They believe that music is a universal language, capable of inspiring and uplifting people from all walks of life.

On Saturday, July 8, 2003, ZAFEM made its Grande Premiere in New York City at Melrose Ballroom in Queens. The event was immediately SOLD-OUT 2 months in advance and a back-to-back performance was announced and also SOLD-OUT. This phenomenon is unheard of in the Haitian Music Industry. Kudos to ZAFEM!
